On September 1, 2026, GACT and Senckenberg had the opportunity to showcase our research at a very special occasion: the 20th anniversary of the Leibniz Office in Brussels.
Together with our colleagues representing the UNESCO World Heritage site Caves and Ice Age Art in the Swabian Jura, we presented our GACT research and cultural heritage from Baden-Württemberg to an international audience. The celebration took place at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg – making it a particularly fitting setting to highlight the region’s contribution to science and heritage.
Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Science Petra Olschowski and the new President of the Leibniz Association, Christoph Schmidt, welcomed guests from across the Leibniz community. It was a great opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and show how research from Tübingen contributes to understanding our shared human past.
