Around 30 GACT members came together in Tübingen last Friday for a productive day of exchange and discussion. Members of our Scientific Advisory Board also joined the workshop and shared their ideas and perspectives for the second funding phase of our Campus.
Our PhD students and postdoctoral researchers presented updates on their current projects and ongoing research activities. As part of the ASHE Colloquium, we were pleased to welcome Miklós Bálint (Senckenberg), who gave a talk on “Long-term biodiversity time series with sedimentary ancient DNA”.
During the lunch break, Tobias Lauer demonstrated a portable OSL device, which can be useful for many GACT members in the field. We were also very happy to welcome our new cooperation partners from the Leibniz Institute for Knowledge Media (IWM), who joined the workshop for the first time.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the inspiring discussions and collaborative atmosphere throughout the day!
