Four projects from different disciplines received a GACT funding in the first round 2024. The successful applicants are:
- Elisa Luzi, “One of These Things (Is Not Like the Others)”. Combining morphology and genetics to distinguish Myopus from Lemmus in Hohle Fels.
- Valdir F. Novello, Climate and geochemical monitoring of the Swabian Alb caves.
- Nicholas J. Conard, Excavations at Hohle Fels 2024 campaign.
- Susan Mentzer, Collecting reference samples of North American Pleistocene animal dung, feces, urine and nesting material in Rampart cave to test the full workflow of sample collection, documentation and analysis for GACT.
